See that's one of the things putting people (well, me at any rate. I'm guessing others too) off coming here. This bad attitude that's adopted by some people.
Senna said: all I see is you going into discussion with him
ntfu2 said: i dont recall attacking him
And now ntfu2 has his sig changed to vbulletin.org. Okay, that'll help.
It's this instant defend attitude. Senna said one thing and asked a personally reasonable question, ntfu2 decided to read another and huff and sigh. How is anything going to get resolved with assumptions galore and fingers on the big red button of attack?
People aren't saying "hmm, I have a different view, maybe I misunderstood something, why don't you tell me your side and we'll find out where the problem is", people are saying "I don't really care about your viewpoint because I've already decided you're an idiot".
It makes for a great atmosphere, really.
The really funny thing is pretty much everyone here is an admin and admins are supposed to be the maturist of the mature, rising above all insults and thinking ahead for the best of the community as a whole, rather than their own agenda. It's really quite amusing. Mind, it does give a nice list of who's forums not to become a part of.
And I agree with Paul, instead of tackling the problem of over-inflated egos who think they're better than everyone else, threads just get closed until the next one starts up, repeat until the only people left are newcomers in need of help and regulars who bicker over their pride.
