Default What's the difference here?

What's the difference and purpose of this site vs the one the good ole boys club runs over at vBORG?

Requiring a vb license is meaningless since it stops nothing and enriches pirate sites.

We don't require any license verification since we're not an offical Jelsoft site. Hack authors are free to release there work regardless of there status with vBulletin.

One of the main goals is that we try to help EVERY member as fast and best that we can. We don't like having empty threads here. :p Your username sounds very familar. Do you own a site named code monkeys?

What’s different here to vborg from my point of view is the friendly and helpful staff and users and dare I say it the lack of a holier than thou attitude too. vb.org may have helpful users and some helpful staff but not quite as much as it used to and there are members over there who think they are more than equal to everyone else. Administrator through to new user we are all equal here just some of us have more work to do to keep the place running.
Oh and just because we don’t check vb licence information doesn’t mean we help people to get hacks posted there. A hack author is the only one who decides where his work is posted and if a hack is available there but not here we will try to give the link to it over at .org

For me the main difference is the people keeping it running a far more relaxed attitude over here than I’ve found elsewhere or maybe I’m just biased ;).

I guess I'm just a bit confused. Since many of you that run this site are quite active over there, then make these comments here. You should be focusing on being a real competitor to that site.

Anyway, does this site allow commercial mods as well?

We acually just started a topic about adding commerical mods to this site last week. When all goes well, we hope to start coding this project together soon. Even getting some coders here invloved in the project.

My activity there is high because I enjoy helping vBulletin customers. I'm not in direct compitition with vBulletin.org. I don't support how things are runned there and how they take on certain issues, but I do like sharing my work and helping anyway I can.

If you have suggestions feel free to post them. I need to look at creating such hack from every angle possiable.

Well, as members already stated: we like to offer support to everyone, as fast as possible. Even if we don't enjoy coding up a 10 line script over and over again, it still makes another member happy ;).

Not saying that I don't enjoy being an admin here ofcourse, I'm just saying that there's nice and less nice things about being an admin/mod/member. We here at vBhackers.com try to help you with everything, and lately vB.org seems to only want to help you with the nice things where the (staff)member has some kind of personal gain.
