hmm, well personally, I think that ranking system here is a bit messed up.

someone can release 100 small easier hacks and they will show as a better "hacker" then one who made 5 really great large hacks.

I think it's a good idea to show the "hackers" since the site is vBhackers, but I think that the ranking like this, doesn't show accurate results.

not really.. I've seen a designer share some great styles, or graphics and they don't get any rank..lol

I've also seen some kid that doesn't really code well,, get the coder tag and they didn't even release anything at the .org

The only way you could make the system more effective is by a member of staff validating each hack as it comes out. But then you have to ask yourself: What's the point? All it is is a user title. If you were running a competition and had $100 for the best coder then maybe it would be slightly more worrying but at the end of the day it doesn't effect anything at all.

But more on topic: I would say somewhere else. The forumhome is already a little cramped xD

At vB.org THE SYSTEM IS BROKE :p

Not that it matters anyway, because they are just trivial user titles. The problem is the misinterpretation of them.
