Default Is there much point?
Reason: Feedback on Vbhackers

Is there much point having two bug reporting systems? It's just a bit confusing...

There's a good reason to have them. We just have to make sure they are user friendly and administered.

For websites I don't think think they are needed as much, but for software or projects they are a must.

Just a suggestion... most users don't care (okay me; can't speak on everyones behalf!) about any new bugs found on this site, and the text is in bright red so it gets our attention. Could you guys either lose the red, or hide the text or color to just staff members. Usually bright red text is reserved for things that need our attention immediately (new PMs, announcements, warnings, etc).

Yes - I believe that should only be visible for staff.

When I started this I specifically meant why 2 of them? What's wrong with just 1?

I only know of one bug report system. Wheres #2? Anyway, the one at the header can easily be turned off and users can just submit it the site feedback forum. The bug system is tide to the hacks bug system. It was an experiment I was messing with to keep track of all bugs, but using the forums is just as useful. ;)

Well #2 is the forum. You have an option for issue with website and the forum seems more user friendly & familiar.

The "New Bugs" link in the navbar should be highlighted for the Staff only now.
