Default Instant e-mail notifications
Reason: Feature suggestions

I thought that adding instant e-mail notifications by default would be a great move because people tend to forget about forums they visit when they discover new ones, just like me.

The last time I visited the forums was in 2006, and I mistakenly bumped into a vBHackers.com link yesterday and thought: "I've already seen these forums..."

And here I am, after two years of inactivity. But hey, that will not happen with everyone; therefore, the best way to bring back users is to enable instant e-mail notifications by default!

I do not think that I am going to update all other uses to have the instant, just have it for the new registrations.

Alright, that's your choice, but hey, I was about to leave vBHackers when I received an instant e-mail notification from vBHackers which notified me that you had replied to this thread! You know, it's easy to change minds! Haha.

This happens to me a lot. I'll join a forum, and then not visit it enough to remember it. Then someone will respond to an old thread and remind me of the forum and I'll start visiting it again. It's a great way to keep the forum active
