I guess I would like to introduce myself. My name is Chris and I have been sent on a mission. I am the wife of a programmer :cross-eye: who is starting a BB site and has no idea where to find the hacks, mods and what nots. I will say right now that I don't expect free stuff, we are more then willing to pay for what should be paid for. I will say out of all the forums I have been looking at this one is the best organized.

OK, now for my question. Can anyone direct me in the direction I need to go?

what kinda hacks you looking for and what version of vbulletin or other forum software are you running ??.

He's running vbulletin 3.5.1 so I don't know if there are any hacks yet. The ones he's got me looking for are 1. a rating system of the members themselves. 2. to create private threads that even google can't search. (had problem in past) and 3. smiley kits. This is also going to be a BB for uploading photos for say contests or just showing off your work. That's all I know for now, I'm sure once he gets this up and running there will be more.

blocking google is not that hard, disable all what makes it more easy for spiders to search the board, fix urls, archive for easy spidering and so on ...

what sort of rating for members something similar to the thread rating but for users instead ?
