K well im using appserv and if I want people to come to my board what would be my url!? I put in http://localhost/ then it connects to me (DUH) but what do other people put in? If they put http://123.456.789.10/ (thats not my ip) then it would try to login to my router...

Noob question I know...

Thats something you would need to set up if you want people to go directly via your ip you need forward the port they connect on which is likely to be 80 for http.

I removed your ip btw you never know whos reading

a good site that will give you all info needed about port forwarding is:
http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm
just select your router & follow the screenshots.

hope this helps.

This is not exactly correct
You need to change the .0 to whatever your server pc is so if your server pc is 192.168.1.2 then the .0 needs to be changed to 2
since your router is 1 its a pretty safe bet that your main pc will be 2 but your router should give a list of connected ips
