Default vb news on custom php page?

Was woundering what code I need to put on a custom php page I made. Could someone make a file or give me the code needed to do so? Thanks.

basically what i want to do is pull news from more then one categorey and put it on a custom page i have to display the news and to display 10 news posts. maybe have it pull the newest threads.

anyone got anything i can use? and no i dont want to use vbadvanced.

here is an example.
