Default [How To] Username Markup With Css bold/color/images

Using css we can give usergroups different colors in different styles

Lets give Registered users a bold underlined green font .

Admincp>>>Style Manager>>>Choose a style you want the usergroups color changed in.>>Choose All style options.

In the bottom box of Additional CSS Definitions
Add this

You must first be a registered member to view any code.

And save.

Then goto Usergroups>>Usergroup Manager>>Click Go to edit registered users

Find the Username HTML Markup and insert this in the first box

You must first be a registered member to view any code.
And this in the second box
You must first be a registered member to view any code.
and save.
You can do this for every usergroup.Just remember to add it in the Additional css box in you style.
This means you can change the css in each style.
If i wanted white names for a dark style i would enter this in the Additional css box.
You must first be a registered member to view any code.
For each usergroup just choose a different span class
ie for admin
in The Styles css add
You must first be a registered member to view any code.
In the Username HTML Markup and insert this in the first box
You must first be a registered member to view any code.
And in the second

You must first be a registered member to view any code.
You can play about with the css and choose the actual font size etc..

Some users have asked how to add stars to usernames to do this in the second box in Username HTML Markup
it would look like this
You must first be a registered member to view any code.
A red star for you to use attached..star.gif

Will this Change the Users title color, or just the Username groups color. like if I have Registered Users Group color set to Blue so does this only set the username group to blue and the User title stays the same? Because what I am trying to do is, change the colors of User Title, so sas their title changes the color will also change.

what u could do is change go into the template that you want to change, for instance postbit(_legacy), go into it, and go to the usertitle variable, then add a span class around that

Not a real ideal way, but you can add an if into the template something similar to:

You must first be a registered member to view any code.
