Default Upgrading 3.0.8 to 3.5.0 rc2?

Well i would like to know what i need to do to upgrade my vbulletin to the 3.5.0 from 3.0.7/.8 if you can help it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm pretty sure the 3.5.0 version has an upgrade script for this, just run the installer and it should say.

yep as Deaths says just run the installer ive done it and all went smoothly.

agree with the others just run the upgrade.php in install folder of 3.5.0 rc2.

thanks .. do i overwrite my old installation of 3.0.7 files with my 3.5.0 files then run the installer?

Yes but do yourself a favour and get a back up first.
thats for both files and database.

Yes, make sure you make the backup with phpMyAdmin and set the correct values (use INSERT if you want to use your old database as a new one), vBulletin's database backup utility isn't too reliable.

ok i finally made the upgrade .. appreciate all the help you have given me ... 1 last thing .. is beta 4 the latest out .. or is it the RC ones?

vB 3.5.0 RC2 is the latest unstable version. 3.0.8 is the latest stable version.
