Default Upgrade-> vBulletin 3.0.6 to 3.5.3

Hi guys / (girls.?)

Im currently running, vBulletin 3.0.6
I would like to upgrade to: 3.5.3 (or a other better version..?)

I never had an upgrade before, but the probleem is i dont want to lose my:
-messages
-Accounts
-Settings
-Hacks

Is there a way to upgrade..?

Is there a way to export and import all data (users, messages) to a new clean board.?

Everything but custom styles and custom hacks can be upgraded no problem with use of the upgrade.php file found in the install directory.
Hacks from 3.0.x will not work in 3.5 and need to be converted as do styles so im afraid you wont be able to save those but install of hacks is far easier in 3.5.
If you want to install a clean board on a clean dbase i guess impex will do that though its not something ive ever done so dont quote me on that and you may as well just run the upgrade.php http://yourhost.com/forum/install/upgrade.php

Why would you want to why not just upgrade it?

Is it possible to do yes its possible but far from easy and no you cant take users etc from 3.0.x and import them directly into a new 3.5.x install.

Upgrading your existing installation is as easy as clicking a few buttons.

Doesnt really help me youll need to be a little more specific.

Try upgrading to latest 3.0.x first then upgrade to 3.5.x not something i waited around with to be honest i switched to 3.5 while it was still in beta.
