Exclamation

Option #1
Steps
1)upload all new files (except install/install.php)
2)then go to includes/config.php.new edit that properly and delte the old config file then rename the new one to config.php
3)point your browser to http://www.yoursite.com/install/upgrade.php

(This is not as simple as above)
Option #2
Steps
1)backup db (do not delte old fourms) via myphpadmin
2)create new database
*DO NOT import the one you just back up yet that not untill step 5*
2)make new folder ex(fourm2) then upload all the vb3.6.0 rc3 in there and install it normally.
3)then add all the custom files (for example vbplaza.php if u have that not any others that will over write any of the new rc3 files)
4) then make the changes to the files manualy.
5)then import the saved database to the.

now if ur still stuck pm me and i can do it for u.

Lightbulb

Did you remove the version number? This happens if it's removed via the ACP.
