Default Test board error

I'm about to install a new test board but the old one has an error when I click to open the forum..

Database error in vBulletin :

Link-ID == false, connect failed
mysql error:

mysql error number: 0

The above is e-mailed to me only...and the forum does not open...any ideas what this might be?

Thanks in avance

Wookie

I click the link to visit my test board, and it white screens with the following message..

"There seems to have been a slight problem with the database.
Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.

An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists.

We apologise for any inconvenience."

In the e-mail I get this message:

Database error in vBulletin :

Link-ID == false, connect failed
mysql error:

mysql error number: 0

I was just wondering what the error actualy was in case it pops up again in the future, I have actually finished with this test board now and have installed another fresh board to test/play with.

Any ideas?

Wookie

Whenever you get the error Link-ID == false, connect failed it means your mysql is down, or your db info in config.php is incorrect.
