Default Stylevars Settings

Ive found lots of threads and posts on various forums regarding thge stylevars settings for liquid templates but what im after is the settings for a width of 760.

In firefox the new reply & new thread screen open up fine but when in IE which mosts people use the post box expands then gradually decreases to the correct width, the same problem even occurs on the main vbulletin site aswell.

Im guessing this is down to using % in the tables rather than set px,

I have edited the new reply & new thread templates, now the new reply is fine as I changed all the 100% for 740 which works great in both ie & firefox.

Although the new thread stll has the same problem even after editing.

Basicly i want to know if there are certain settings in stylevars that will combat this problem without having to go through all the templates and edit each one.

cheers

Afaik the stylevars don't cover this, as it's a display 'bug' in IE.

Thank for this I guess unless I can persuade members to download firefox then they will have to suffer.

Is there also a bug in Ie that causes the slow page loading times aswell in vbulletin then as ive had a look around on various forums using both IE and firefox but both have pretty much the same page loading times on smf & phpbb forums.

I think this is due to the CSS vBulletin uses. IE 6 is simply too outdated atm.

I don't know really. I have it installed atm, if you want you can provide me with a link and a test account and I'll check it out.
