Every style/skin i upload, the start page gets screwed up - as in not alligned properly..(only the start page) i need to fix this.. any ideas?
also i couldnt find the thankyou button hack anywhere on this site..
start page as in i mean the main page.. should i post a screenshot of the problem or send a link via PM to anyone?

where is your site? I suspect it is a catagory problem. usually caused if you imported the forum from another package.

i didnt import the forum from any other package, the normal vBulletin thing.. now i have only one working skin/style. anything else i try to addon, the main page of the forum gets de-alligned.. not proper.. evreything else changes & looks good

lets see a link or screen shot.

what BC was saying is that the why your forum is setup can knock it out of wack..

you should have

-- category title (don't act as a forum)
----forum 1
----forum 2

I got the skins to work..yes! I mean, properly, as in even first page comes alligned now. I think it was due to the :
-- category title (don't act as a forum)..
----forum 1
----forum 2

Anyway, now theres another problem. I can't revert..like I uploaded the skin, installed it..then went to my page, then clicked on the Skin Selector to select the new skin, it worked! but I can't select the old skin now!..whys that? It still shows in the Skin Selector but I can't select it! I have to delete the new skin to be able to view the old skin again. Can help?
Also, with the new skin that I now have, I cannot go anywhere..like cannot enter forums or use any links on the page. If I click on any link, I get an error message from my browsers. Yes, I've tried using different browsers.
