Exclamation some php help really needed, i've broke somet lol

i get this error when going to my forum
i was doing some modifications but i'm pretty sure i didn't got near those lines

Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /web/sites/258/dava02/www.Butcher.com/chAos/includes/functions_databuild.php on line 1112

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: build_birthdays() in /web/sites/258/dava02/www.Butcher.com/chAos/index.php on line 144

you should of backed your files up. if you dont have ne other hacks installed just replace the index.php and the functions_databuild file or if you do have hacks installed just do the opposite of what you did ie if it said find 11111 and above it add 2222 than find 111 and delete 222 and if it was templates that you were working with just do revert templates hope that wasnt to confusing am kinda tired right now

lol did but but when i went to restore the file was over the max allowed
think i may have already tried all this
gonna give it another bash

on line 1112 in functions_databuild.php all thats there is ?> at the very bottom ov the file

and in the index.php online 144 i've got $birthdaystore = build_birthdays();

over the max allowed like in disc space u mean? if so just delete the domething on ur server that you dont need besides that just like paull said build frum a database back up

i think you forgot to add somewhere } or removed it from somewhere, so i really dont know anyway, as everyone already said, just use your backup, and if you didnt make one, just try to restore it, meaning go by instructions, and try to look up where you missed something, or where did you do something wrong.
