[Skin Help] adding header and footer to forums

can anyone tell me what template i have to edit to add a header and footer table to the forums like most skins now have, it is above all of the forums and contains the category name and all that i think its the forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost or cpl of them? but im confused cause it doesnt look like it should be there i think it should be in forumhome, but in there the forums are called from the "$forumbits phrase" anywayz will post a ss if i have too most of you skinners should have an idea of what i mean

yup it's the forumhome template and forumhomne_level1_nopost that you need to edit if i read correctly.
i guess your also wanting to separate the forums too.

if you need any further help i'll add a small tut on how to do this

a small tut would be really appreciated if you can and want too

i dont believe that i want to seperate the forums just wrap a header and footer around each one, not the overall header or footer i got them

i guess if this makes more sense, i want to have the category in my own header and then the forums underneath, so i want an individual category header and footer for each category not the actual individual forums sry for my wording if that confused you
