Default Removing Last Post column on FORUMHOME

http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=122394

I'm currently using a custom skin and tried installing the mod above. But when template edit is complete, the Last Post column still remains on FORUMHOME.

Would anybody like to guide me on how to remove the Last Post column?

Notice when I applied this template mod, the thread and post count shifted to the left.

Using VB 3.5.5

Thanks in advance!!!

well, the 2nd picture posted is thumb pic, and cannot see much @ 150x50 pixels (or whtever that size is...lol).

anyway, i think i know what's your problems.
it's sounds to me you added an extra <td></td> cell (or another "table column" in simple words) into outer template (the one holding the THEAD class row), while forgetting to add it into threadbit template as well (or the other way around).
or, another scenario possible is you have some conflicting use of colspan="x" html tags, where possible 1 cell taking place of 2 or more columns.

tbh, it will be hard to tell which one of the two. This type of problem is mostly caused by either bad html code (from the hack auther, unlikely) or by invalid install and/or not following correctly after auther install instructions.
in which case i would simply suggest you to go over auther install steps (again) and verify you didn't missed somethign there, most common thing is to misplace html into template, or missing some table tags in there (could be from complete <td></td> into even missing </table> - but must be table related for sure).

if you tried, (after you did verify both auther instructions & checked for any misplaced html code into template) but still cannot fix it, i guess i or other staffer/member could try to help locate it, but it will surely require both threadbit & showthread outer templates attached in here.

going to sleep in a few, so will check up on this tomorrow.

:p took me some time to write up this one, didn't even noticed you replied meanwhile, only after page refreshed.
now that i read his first post again, i see indeed he said he removed it, so it's most likely to be it, guess was too tired to think clearly...
good work m8.

just finished to watch p.b., i'm off to sleep ;)
good luck with this one.

Be careful with how you remove this. It effects a lot of sections including the search results section. I thought I had a mod out that explains how to do this. Might want to search for it.

I believe I ended up removing the last post column. I should have mentioned the skin was an eXtremepixels skin. These guys mix up stuff that should be in the navbar when it's really located in the header.

I had to remove

from forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost

I have no idea if this is the proper way but I'm pleased. =P Once again, thank you so much for taking the time to look into this with me. You guys rock!

Oh since I got you guys here, I might as well ask.

As you can see in the picture above, where it says Last Post:, the title description is cut short. Ex Call for fertility ban for...

Is it possible to show the full description since I have all this room now?

Thanks again and again! =)
