I'm actually in the middle of working on one that is admin cp controlled so it can vary from forum to forum.

hey that link i posted earlier with instructions on how to put it in its own column works great, and so far seems to work without any problems of attachment icons and such.

I just tried it on a test forum, and it looks nice.

Yeah, that's what I'm using to help me, i'm just putting IF statement around them now to make sure this all works...... I should have it done by tomorrow.

I need to know how to place an alter database setting into the plug-in so it creates a new row for this addition. When I did it on my board I ran a query, but it'll be easier to just have it in the plug-in.

Is it possible to have a php script find a certain part of a template and replace it with something else, so this can change the template without having to install the template changes by hand.

P.S.: I don't know how to add the Yes/No buttons in the Forum Manager to the area I wanted to add them to, by using hooks; so I hard coded them into forum.php in the admincp directory.... I will include a forum_backup.php file which will be the original vBulletin file. (I hope your using 3.5.x, or if not then I hope 3.6 is the same forum.php file.)

well i cant answer your programming questions, but ill use it even if i have to add the table myself.... and i use 3.5.4 and also have a backup of all my files and ****...besides i think ive modified a few of the pho files before.

its all part of creating the hacks man, it cant always be all automatic, alot of hacks ive installed require me to create a table myself.

just the fact that i wont have to edit like 7 templates by hand is an automatic plus for me

Is there a DB Drop query for forum....

so

$vbulletin->db->query_write("ALTER TABLE" .TABLE_PREFIX ."forum DROP (threadstarter_column' ')");

would that work?

Thanks..... I'm going to bed now since I've yet to, I'll have this done by the end of the day. But since it's 7:45 am here, I have to get some sleep.
