Default Ony Logged in memebrs can view the page

well i wanterd to know if anyone knows how to make it so that a PAGE that i creat from like frontpage and upload to my ftp how can i make it so that only people logged in can view the page. Like if they have the direct url then i have seen in a website before that the url redirects back to the main site if ur not logged in but if u are logged in it gives u acces to the page. For example if i have vb installed and then a SEPARATE page i uploaded is there something i have to do to the CMODD thingy or like upload it in a specific folder so taht only those that are logged in teh forums can view that page?? :ermm: does anyone knoiw??

try this, put on your php file header something like this:
You must first be a registered member to view any code.
notes:
1. make sure path to "global.php" is correct, or just put it on your vbulletin directory.
2. i've wrote checking of userid, and not anything more that that.
this is the general idea though, you can play with it to add further checking till you are
satisfied with security.

hope this helps.

greets.

and one more thing, if u require any better security for that page, would advise you on doing dynamic (based on db) htaccess on that page.
you can find the hacks for it here, just use search.

think you can find a hack on vbulletin.org called vb powered pages or so, that should do the trick ;)
