But if the user's not in the database, there's no way to tell the script to check the user... You might just need to delete his posts.

Unless there is a condition you can put in to check against the db to see if he's a member... that might be a little server intensive if it's an active thread the post is in.

well why doesnt anything else show up..... location, age, etc.
there must be someway, or some place to put the code, that it wont show up for users not in the database.

Ahh. Now I see.

I'm not entirely sure if guest posts have a usergroup though I think you're right - they don't. However the postbit for guest posts still has some information.
You can use <if condition="$postinfo['userid']">foo</if> where foo is the code to be shown if the poster is not a guest. (It says if the poster has a userid then show foo)

actually i was wrong ...... this indeed doesnt show the info in the statment,... but it excludes it for everyone, and not just people who aren't part of a usergroup

Oh yeah that makes sense. I was thinking along the lines of $vbulletin->userinfo and $userinfo (member pages)
