Something weird is going on with my forum.
When a new message is posted in my forum it shows a new message as it should. But after I have read the message and go back to the index page it still says the forum has new message even though it hasn't!

I asked and everyone using my forum is having this problem. I have also heard other forums having the same problem.

Is this a known bug or is this something I can fix?

Thanks you in advance

Do you go back with clicking link on page again or click "back" button on browser ??

It's likely that if you use "back" button instead you read page from your pc cache & not from server.
Regards,
Idan.

Also, what do you use for your "Thread/Forum Read Marking Type"? (in vBulletin Options > General Settings)

I always use the link og index link on my forum. But that doesnt change anything. Even if I log out and back it doesnt work.

The thread/forum read marking type is set to Inactivity/Cookie Based.

Try setting it to Database (no automatic forum marking)
