I believe you mean making it so that the fonts are installed upon viewing the website? If so, this generates a message which pushes users away a great deal :speechles

No this is different. No messages appear. Only the document with your special font shows. The whole process is quite invisible to the user ;)

So it invisibly installs a font on the user's computer?

No. It displays the font, similarly as if the document was an image ;)

Ah i see, if that's the case, i do not believe it will be to effective to use across a site or posts. It would probably be a bit more useful to include in a banner or such ;)

Why would someone use it in a banner? Banners are just images. This is for font substitution in live documents just like forums. We've had three people already ask us how to do this for their quote fields. Sadly we don't have the time to work on it, but no doubt it would be a great hack.

I see. I didn't mean a banner image, i meant more of in the header area to have your site's name in text and such. The way you described it made it as sort of like an image makes me think that it cannot be highlighted, used with the advanced editor interface, etc. am i correct?

It should work fine with the editor. It's just substituting the 'normal' font for what they see on their screen :classic: There are two ways to do this. One is PHP, and one is with javascript.

Ah i see. I guess i'd have to actually see this and mess with it to see how it works. Sounds good though ;)
