I have a bunch of images on my server, denoting a rank in my game clan.
I want to make a custom profile field for users to select and display one of these images in the users postbit.

I have only a rough idea of what would need to be done.

Would work much like the country flag i think... but im not sure how to impliment this.

Can someone offer a helping hand??

I know i need a list for the user to select which image (rank) they are.... im kinda lost after that.

i would say just to use the banner system that was released here.

Anyway i actually figured this out on my own... im so proud..... now i just gotta figure out where the hell i can put these images that looks good.

the only thing id like changed with this, is in the member list it displays the "Battle Rank" TEXT and i would like it to show the actual image instead ..... is there a way to achieve this?

Hmm, Can't you just change the profile field format? If it's user set then i guess some are the same so you could do it based on secondary user groups and ranks.

i dont know how i would go about changing the profile field format.... i can try it if you could give me some guidance

I don't really know the only thing you could possibly do was ask the to put <img src="link"> The problem is that wouldn't work but there is a hack that will parse the vB Code so the can put [img]link[/img] and that would work. Search "BB Code Parse" on vborg
