Default mouse overs

trying to have mouse over affect on my last 10 race table i tried doing

so for example lets say release name was test

i want it when u hover over the werds test you got a lil box over it it saying

release name:$release[name]
status: $pubstatus
country: $winnerflag
poster: $winner

not those exact bvariables but u get the point i tried

but no luck :bawling: help

Well either the above code is an incomplete paste or you really need to take another look at it.
Did you write the java script your using for the tooltip? Or did you borrow someone elses? If someone elses did you follow the instructions correctly. I know these sounds like silly questions but they have to be asked all the same.
Lastly I guess have you tried the tooltip on a basic link in a basic page to make sure it at least works before going any further.

i didnt write the script am using the one in forum display for when u mouse over a tread title it gives you a preview but i cant quite get it

I'm pretty sure you can just use the title= attribute...

I'm not sure if that works with anchors, if it doesnt, you can add the title atribute to the <td>.
