Unhappy Logging in Phrases

Does anyone know a way in which I can insert a log of data into a phrase ie., with the fields Name, Thanks, Date... and then go onto the next line? This would use html I suppose, so what I was thinking of was a continuous line of:

You must first be a registered member to view any code.
Can anyone help? Basically I want to create a sitelog of just one particular piece of information :confused:

Thank you so much if you could help me

Close, but what it is is that I want to give someone x thanks using another script, and update the information in say, vbphrase[thanks_list] so that it adds a line of code to the code already there, so when it updates it goes from:

You must first be a registered member to view any code.
to:

You must first be a registered member to view any code.

Also do you know how to do this (sorry)...

...using this last line of code I want to create a pop up window at the end of a function... this is one area I am pretty hopeless in; I think judging by what you see you can probably work out what I am trying to do here...

You must first be a registered member to view any code.
Oh and by the way, javascript is already called up so that isn't one of the issues...

so like:
<phrase 1=$user[username] 2=$user[username] 3=$date>$vbphrase['thankssentance']</phrase>
then you would have for that phrase:
{1} has been given {2} thanks on {3}

No pop-up window, just a white screen
