Default I need some help with my Vbulletin

im sorry if its not the right forum....i wasnt sure...

im currently runing VBB3 Beta 7
and i want to upgrade it to VBB Gold
can some one explain me how do i upgrade?

please dont give me the link to the online Vbuleetin Manual...i cant understand it there...

if some i willing to help me upgrade please reaply here with you contact information

It is really simple

BACK UP YOUR DATABASE

Then just upload ALL the vb3 gold files overwriting any files it wants. Then goto http://your.domain.com/forums/install/upgrade.php and it should go from there

The longest part would be uploading and overwriting all the .php files.

but i dont have the upgrade**.php files...
can some one please send me the files???

i deleted them :bawling:

and to let it overwrite the Config.php file ???

and if i let it overwrite all the files so i can use the VB3 GOLD upgrade files?

You would need to overwrite all .php files. Rename config.php.new to config.php The add your board infomation in the config.php file.

I can't send you the files, as it will violate vBullteins License agreement. If you have member access you can just redownload the .zip from the members area.

I've heard from Wayne Luke that you don't have to overwrite your current config.php.

This is correct you can use the current config file. It still contains all the same info.
