If I reinstall the vbulletin, will my posts and topics be removed ??

And if I upgrade my forum will the problem be gone ??

first, make sure your config file has the correct database and user info

For future info; when the database error isn't visibly displayed on the page, right click on it and select view source. You will find the database error in the source code.
