Default HTML Parseing

Hey guys,

I just installed a modification that restricts html posting, and it mentions " HTML Parseing " quite a few times.

I just want to know, what does " HTML Parseing " mean?

Cheers;)

Parsing: To break (a sentence) down into its component parts of speech with an explanation of the form, function, and syntactical relationship of each part.

HTML parsing means that the server 'reads' the HTML, and thus 'interprets' it. If HTML isn't being parsed like in this post, HTML tags will simply be displayed as if you were to type them into an editor. However, if they get parsed, it means the server 'reads' them, and thus shows its result (ie <br /> will change into a new line).

Hope that explains
