Hi! I am trying to find a work around for smilies on the VBShout hack using another hack. I use the smilie category hack so right now the shoutbox smilies are random. I would love to use the same smilie popup box hack that I use for quick reply to fix this issue.

I placed it in the right area and the smilie shows... but nothing happens when I click on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Are you sure "vB_Editor['$editorid']" works? To do that you would have to get each smilie to add the text to the input box onclick. I'll take a look at some things and then be back.

YAy! Thank you so much for responding! I thought I would have to do the 'bump of shame'. I know the hack works with the quick reply... so silly me thought it would with the shoutbox.

That's just the code for opening the window. Do you actually have the code for the window it displays?

I just realized the most important part that I left out! I have the Smile Category hack. Sorry! I have about 469 smilies and to use the VBShout one is insane. It loads the whole page. The smilie category hack adds a drop down box in the editor to choose the categories. I wanted to use the same pop up as on the editor and quick reply because it has that option. *sigh* I'm sorry for not being clear in the beginning. :/
