You can try:
You must first be a registered member to view any code.
That will take away the last character. Example
You must first be a registered member to view any code.
Will print 'Live'.

problem is last character is allways a variation for different titles.

fixed it with:

$FinalOutput = preg_replace("'\">.*?</a>'si", "",$FinalOutput);

returns:

http://www.gamespot.com/pc/driving/juiced/index.html?q=Juiced

now i have it set platform specific

there is no way out of that mess without using regexp.
for me, what did the trick, was this:
You must first be a registered member to view any code.
use this thorugh your loop of the socket or the output of "file" function, if this is what u used.
when u get the match there, the $link array will hold your game link.

get a copy of RegexBuddy and regular expressions become a breeze.

For platform specific again I used regular expressions.

that was the first query with release name which i used to grab the section and type then i fetch second time with:

http://www.gamespot.com/$platform/driving/juiced/index.html?q=Juiced

$platform i used this from release name :

if (eregi('ps2', $relname)) {
$platform="ps2";
}

which then returns all the info for the specific platform ps2 or xbox etc.

nice one S.A.
only thing annoying with this cute appie is the auto-highlight feature sometimes not doing the right job (on "list" it's ok though).
except for this minor "flaw" i've found, it's indeed very nice tool of the trade ;)

thanks for sharing.
