for some stupid reason, i changed my cookie path thru the admin cp, then i noticed i couldn't log in.... so i tried to look for it thru my db. i found it and i changed it back... but now its not letting me log in, whats so ever... any ideas guys? i have over 100 members... their all on top of me... i mean a error is a error, but damn... when it keeps going in a circle... this sucks...

Try running this script: In your /forums directory. Afterwards delete it.

This will reset your cookie path to allow you to log back in.

ok... why is it that if u changed a SQL line, it wont edit the php? like...

i found the "cookiepath" line... and changed it... but it didn't change on the php... why is that?

That database won't acually change a line in the .php file. The .php sends commands to the database and then checks back to see if the info all matches. So you would have to physicaly change the cookie path in the config.php.

wait wait wiat wait.... the cookie path was ALL ALONG IN THE CONFIG.PHP?
