i used to have vbb2 :s

well no i finally decided to go to vbb3

with vbb2 i used to have a irc addon.....
it contained sum php files wich i've already changed so that's not the problem.
when i manually insert a row it does also post without a problem on irc.
so there is no connection problem.

the only problem i have is the following....


The installation instructions told me to do to following in vbb2.

open /newreply.php and find:

under it add:

and

open /newthread.php and find:
++++++++++++++++++

well i have absolutly no clue where to put it.

it is supposed to start AFTER i have posted my msg :/

i tried it in newthread.php / functions_newthread.php
but no result.

can anyone help me on the right way?

i would like to know if anyone knows how to make the folowing.....

i would like to run an INSERT query when a newthread is posted.
and the insert query should contain the username & title of the new thread just posted and should be inserted in a table called...... ircmessages.

that's all i actually want to do
