Here's how it looks now. (First Image)


This really annoys me because everyone has different resolutions and no matter what I do it will look weird to everyone else. So I would like to make my banner smaller and move it here taking the forum name out there & the little folder icon and have only the banner there (Image 2)


Was not really sure what to modify and where to start on it. I would like to stick the banner right above the nav links if at all possible.

edit your navbar template for inserting it above the navigation. U can leave it like picture 1 but then u must use the center tag

So easy is it

you need to go too your admincp, then you clicks Style Manager and then you select All Style Options and then you see Common Templates and have you too edit the header

Um I don't think everyone is getting what I'm saying here. I want to replace the little blue folder & the title words with the small banner. Nothing seems to replace it all together. I don't want those to show up on it at all. The small banner can link somewhere that's ok but I don't want the words & folder there at all inside that table. Here's my header code:

Heres what I did

first I had to resize the image to 532 pixel wide because the "width" thing didnt work when I added it to the navbit code


ok,
so I went tinto Templates >> navbar >>

SEARCH for the SECOND one, theres two of those codes, you want to find the SECOND and just change

navbits_start.gif to tops.gif
make sure the BANNER is named tops.gif and is in your images folder

save the navbit and you should get something like the attached image below

because of the size of the image you'll notice that area extends past the forum ( see X on image )

Ok I'll give that a try. I was already planning on resizing the banner a good bit smaller so it would not extend past it. I'll play with that a bit. Thanks for your help.
