Default help adding link to "edit templates" under "style manager"

In Admin CP, I wanna put a link to "Edit Templates" under Styles & Templates > "Style Manager" but have tried for an hour and a half looking at all the files and templates of where this goes.

Can someone help me please?

could be difficult to do if there are different styles
if you only have one style should be possible though

first let me clarify

you would like an edit templates link in the left pane under style manager and above search in templates?

as once you've clicked style manager edit templates is just a drop box away

Yes, one style.

I know it's a click in a drop box, but that's what is great about vb... you can customize things to your liking and make it easier or faster to reach things you use every 10 minutes when editing.

In vb 2.x.x I had all the links I wanted by editing a simple php file.

Anyways, under "Styles & Templates" is:

Style Manager
Edit Templates
Search in Templates
Replacement Variable Manager
Download / Upload Styles
Find Updated Templates

The part in bold is what I'd like to add. Something like: templates.php?do=modify&styleid=1 (or something like that)

edit admincp/index.php

add after
You must first be a registered member to view any code.
and you should be done this (on my box) gives me the templates with them already expanded and ready

template.php?s=&do=modify&expandset=1&group=all#al l
that link part can be obtained from yours if different by right clicking on the templates page and noting the link

lol yeah noticed you were using 3.5 after and I did it for 3.0.7
sorry about that
but I don't know enough about 3.5 to help you without installing it
and I've found no reason to change to 3.5 yet but if I do I'll check here

in "cpnav_vbulletin.xml":

<navgroup phrase="styles_and_templates" permissions="canadminstyles" displayorder="20">

<navoption displayorder="10">
<phrase>style_manager</phrase>
<link>template.php?do=modify</link>
</navoption>

<navoption displayorder="20">
<phrase>template_templates</phrase>
<link>template.php?do=modify&expandset=1</link>
</navoption>

Some reason, the navpanel disappears.... dunno why. Can someone please help me out?

unedited section that I wanna add the "above" (in bold), in forum/includes/xml/cpnav_vbulletin.xml

You must first be a registered member to view any code.

I hope this is what you meant by the "displayorder" comment

looking at this I would try
You must first be a registered member to view any code.
and create a new phrase in the right place called
edit_templates
with the data
Edit Templates
