Exclude groupid X from the time limit for editing options

I need to exclude a certain usergroup from the options that limits the time in which users can edit their posts. How can this be accomplished?

In the editpost.php I tried this:

You must first be a registered member to view any code.

But it didn't work...

Any idea?
