editing the forum email welcome message

hello all ,

Ive just got my forum up and runnin now about a month and im new to vb .. can someone tell me were i edit the email thats sent to new members when the sign up to the forums.

If you had done a search you would have found my EXACT same thread.

That aside
AdminCP > Languages & Phrases > Phrase Manager

Phrase type: email body text
Phrase: welcomemail


You cant change the original values, but enter your own message in the translation box below. It works just the same.

were do i turn (of ) so that members dont need to activate there account , they can just sign up as normal ?

Isn't this an option in the ACP? ;)

ya someone in admincp to allow anonymous registrations or dont validate or something
