Do Not Show Subforum Cat..

Hello,

I have done this before but forgot how to do it. Was woundering if anyone knew how to make it so when you have sub catigorys you cannot see the thread bar at the bottom. I know how to make it so no one can post. However I would like that removed so all they see is the sub forums listed in the forum.

Anyone got any ideas?

I understand that much, but where do I go to the options. Please tell me where it's located and what I have to turn off.

So instead of:
Catergory 1
- forum 1
-- subcat 1
-- subcat 2
you want:
Catergory 1
- forum 1
subcat1 - subcat2 - subcat 3
