Disable AJAX on vBShout 2.1

is there a version of vBShout without AJAX Feature ? AJAX is Good but on Low Speed Ineternet Connection, it's much problem.

another problem, some times vBShout Detect Unicode Text as SQL Injection and don't Post the Text on the Box

is there another Alternative ShoutBox ? a Simple Category Box to use as a Announcement
