I am installing a news hack for vb3 and somewhere in the install.txt there is a line that says:

In the admin penal, click Options > vBulletin Options

Then Add New Setting Group and add this :

now, click on the link News > Option, and under
'Display news box ? [Edit] [Delete] [Add Setting]'
click 'Add new value' with these values :

Description : This option allow you to display or not the news box on your forum

Now I know this should be under developer options in vb admincp cos I had to use it once for another hack called top5 statistics...

It seems like I cannot find this damn link anymore anywhere.... I thought maybe it got lost in overwriting the admincp/index.php files when installing other hacks but I tried with the original file from vb3 and still can't find the developer options anywhere anymore...

Anybody who can help on this one???

Never mind this is solved... Found out about the config.php and for these options you should the $debug function *doh*
