When the default "New Posts" or addon ones in welcome bar "View New Posts" and "View Posts In Last 24 Hours" are clicked it leads straight to a database error

I have a fairly heavily modified forum but this error has been there since very early on so I have no idea anymore which hack or edit may have caused this problem, any ideas on what I need to do to fix it, I never use those buttons so it was another member that pointed it out to me hence why i don't know when the error 1st occured.....

once again i have answered plenty of times use the search feature
