Phpmyadmin is for managing the mysql database that all the vbulletin data is held on.
It usually can be found at your hosting site.
Go to whoever hosts your site and login to your account, most give you some kind of admin panel where you can add databases see site stats and so on...
There should be a link to phpmyadmin somewhere in there. All hosting company use different administration panels. If you are not sure how to find phpmyadmin then ask your hosting company.

Yep phpmyadmin is not overly user friendly looking he he he..
What i did was make another database for wordpress or something and then had a go at that database to see how phpmyadmin worked before i tried my vb database.:classic:

Cool999,

I have had the same error and researched solutions on 4 sites with no help anywhere. Queries and editing didnt help and those that replied were so vague it was a guessing game at best.
However.... I was able to find out that there were issues or a glitch with the "search.php" file in the latest release of vb3.6.4
Having tried everything else and going for broke, I deleted my search.php file from the forums root folder and uploaded an earlier version of "search.php" from vb3.6.2.
Once I did this I have no more errors and things work great.
Now maybe this isnt the technical answer (lol) that the coders here might offer, but it worked for me and it was a hell of alot easier than some of the advice I was given.
I attached the one that worked for me in a zip file below for you to download if you like.
It worked for me, maybe it will work for you.

LMK

Peace out,
DB :pirate:

They have the solution on vbulletin.com. All you have to do is add a column to the table as whitemike said...
