I have some custom fields set up for my site. For example, field6 is the member's real name.

If I type $post[field6] in the membersinfo template, their name appears.

With other templates I've tried this with, the name doesn't appear. It just leaves a blank space.

Is there some coding in membersinfo that I can copy into other templates? It's vital for my site that I can use the member's real name in different places.

What code do I need to add to the other files and/or templates?

What templates are you trying to use it on. Variables are define in the code. Like in the postbit it's $post, on a member's page it's $userinfo... If you want to get the variable for the people viewing the page then it's $vbulletin->userinfo or $bbuserinfo.

I want it to show up on the who's online page (that's my main priority).

Some other pages would be good too.

You would probably need to alter the query to do that.

You seem to have a bad conditional in the postbit template...

So the same edits I do in Legacys HAS to be done in postbit?
