Like I said in the post above, I got the error when I searched for a user. I also noticed, while my forum is running correctly at the moment, that I see the same error message in the top of the forum when I click on someone's name and see his profile. Maybe it's connected?

Hey rogersnm,

I just typed in the error message I got in google and a solution I found worked:

To troubleshoot this, remove any hacks and disable your plugins, then see if you still have this problem.

Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

This is ofcourse a temp solution but admin panel works, user search in admin panel works, error message is gone and usercp on the forum doesn't show the error message anymore either.

In it's possible I would like to fix this plugin system as it would a lot less time then install it from scratch for the 20th time today lol.

Could you or anyone help me out with finding a solution for this problem? There was to be something wrong in the plugins system. If I would delete all the plugins, would that solve the problem? Btw, if it's a plugin problem, does this mean it's only plugins or do products also fall under that category?

you can turn on/off plug ins in the vB options, Just uninstall the mods you have. it could be a 3.6 compatibility issue or it could be your new server is a) worse than your old one or b) different set up.

go to your admincp on the old board.
go to the plugin system, and then Download/Upload plugins.

Download ALL of the plugins (make sure the box is checked)

Then on the new site/server, reverse the process, go to the plugin area, and UPLOAD the plugin file that was saved when you downloaded (plugins.xml or something)

you could be missing some stuff that isnt there ....
so try that and see if it works.

Hehe thanks for the comments guys. I followed roger's advice before I saw yours Johnny. Anyway, it worked and the forum is back online. Uninstalled all the plugins and the problem was gone. Installed all the products again and no errors. So I'm back online and my 3,500 members are happy hehe.

Cheers guys for the feedback, love ya!
