Default Changed Database Password, Changing vB Settings

Alright, I changed my DB password to stop a hacking attempt, so I was wondering what edits do I need to make for my forum to function fully? I've already changed includes/config.php, and the forum is working fine, except for the fact that my members can't register. They get the "There seems to be a problem with the database" message. I have the v3Arcade, RPG Inferno, Flashchat, vbAdvanced, and vbSponsers hacks installed if it's to any use.
