There has to be something I am missing, we are totally new to this. We added a new style, all works but the images, just little boxes. I uploaded a bunch of avatars, cant see the images. They are fine in the directory, but wont show on the site. Any ideas? What have i missed or done wrong?

well did you upload to the corret forum? check the style vars to make sure directory is correct

the images are in forum/images/avatars. When I go to browsw for avatars, you can see a blank box w/ the image names, like its supposed to be there. Its almost like theres some permission not allowing me to see images. Theyre definitely in the right place or I wouldnt be getting the file names

sometimes it helps to right click on an image that isnt displaying and seeing where its linking the image then check the links to make sure its not a broken link... ;) ive had this trouble before.

It seems the file attributes were wrong, nothing as set for group permissions & public permissions.

Right click on the image and check the url then make sure it's in the same place on the ftp.

I figured it out.We had the fi;le attributes set to owner only, As soon as I changed that. Voila! We have images!
