Avatar problems :S

Hey folks

i have a problem with avatars ... I cant upload them in my forum ... when i try from ADMINCP it says :

I guess you should turn off the SAFE MODE... Find php.ini, it's usually found in the apache\bin folder.
If your web-hosted, ask them to change it for you. Submit a support ticket if they have such a system.

And if they say no then it's either live with it or move host.
