Default Anyone familiar with Paid Subscriptions?

Well, it looks like I can't get support on vbulletin.com as there site is not up now. That's another story.

Anyway, I have installed Paid Subscriptions on my site. I activated PayPal as a method of payment and folks are trying to donate. However, they get to paypal and they say they are getting a message on the PayPal website that there is something wrong with the sellers email address and the transaction can't be completed.

Someone sent me money via this email (outside the forum) earlier in the week to this same email address so I know has worked before. Does this sound like a forum related problem or should I be talking to PayPal?

Thanks!

Are you sure you've entered the email adress in the right place? You'll need to add it if Im not mistaking, it doesn't use the webmaster email.

I have the email entered as the same email as the email that gets the Contact Us emails. I imagine this is the webmaster email. I am going to change that and then see what happens.

Thanks for the reply.

I changed the webmaster's email addy for contact us and folks are still getting the same message. This is strange. Any other things I should check for?

Now the linked email is one of a superadmin, but not listed as the contact us webmaster mail in vbulletin options. Would this still pose a problem though?

Follow up question:

Which paypal account is required for the paid subscription feature to work on vbulletin?

I see the Premier and Business accounts pull fees out of the transactions on BOTH bank account and credit card transfers and definitely work with the paid subscription feature on vbulletin.

However......

Does anyone know if you can use a personal account if you are only going to accept transactions between bank accounts and not take credit card payments??????? Or do you HAVE to have at least a premier account at the minimum for the paid subscription feature on vbulletin to work?

Thanks for any input you can give.

Any account will work i believe ;) I've coded my own paypal-integrated sites in the hack and all types of accounts worked, i'd imagine that it's the same for paid subscriptions since i'm sure the integration is similar
