Hello all its me again. I would like to know how to add on ads to my forum like the ones on here? I know you can add them on the top and smaller ones on the right side but what about the left side? Can you please tell me how to add these ades to my forum please.

Step one: Install my advertise mod ;)
Step two: Where you want your add you can add: <span style="float: right" id="ad">ad_link_+_image</span> in your header template, and it should make it float at the top on the right, if it doesn't work please post a link to your site or the code in your header template and i'll tell you where to put it.

Ok well I already installed your ad mod and it works fine and I will try this in a few and will let you know how it turns out

Also what about if I want it in a box on the left or right?

Ok that worked to a point. It showed up but not in the place where I wanted to to go. If you take a look at the link you will see where the ad went. I want it like the ad here on vbhackers. Here is my address http://web-solutions.emaurescue.org/forum

This is mine with google ads on the right.... Goto http://hdfilms.excell.org/index.php , it is pushed to right a little but that's because of my over sized logo. Just replace the Script with the image and see what that does.

you mean a vertical strip? You's have to put your forums in a table and then put to columns, the first with the normal forums and the second with the ads.

You added another cell with the ads in rather than what i did is you could put the code in the same cell (which should have worked)

How do I do this? I would love to have some ads on the left and/or right side of my forum. But what I mean is like a small type ad not like the one on the top here at vbhackers. I forgot whos forum it was but somebodys forum here had small ads on the right in a little box that was the same type of color and things as the forum. Can you tell me how to do that?
