Ok, I need some help... im a php noob so bear with me

I'm developing www.bf2sf.co.uk/forum/

I've added an extra field in the user profile field called BF2 name which is [field5].

I want this to appear where the name / no of posts / icq link etc appears (on the left hand side).

I've dont a bit of searching and have sorted this BUT, it only appears if you've added say an icq no. or a website url or one of the options.??

Also, I have another problem....

I want this new link to be a hyperlink. So if my name was FULLONLOON the hyperlink would be http://bf2s.com/player/FULLONLOON/

So what ever the name you entered when you registered, the little link on the left hand side of all you posts adds http://bf2s.com/player/ infront of it. Ohh, and it would be nice if this opened in a new window.
